Church of Agios Filippos

Agios Filippos is located at the north west of the Island, certainly the most eccentric place at the far west side of the coast. The most convenient is to stop at Kambanario ancient tower (that you can see on your right when you start walking from the asphalt road) and the path which directly drop you on the right direction, then on the other side of the hill. This is the same way I have taken to go to Tsoudhales a couple of years ago. Some very nice black and white cows will meet you. After a while, you can leave on your left the bay... [Lire la suite]

Panagia ti Poulati

In a few weeks, we will be back in Sifnos for 15 days and we are waiting for this since we booked our flight in January! One more time, we have decided to stay the entire holidays on our favourite island despite the attraction of the neighborhood! We found more practical to take benefit of one day cruise to do some island hoppings. That explains we will insert some snapshots of Serifos, Kimolos and Milos in the future just to show you some alternatives. Church of Chrisopighi

Chrisopighi is one of the most famous site you may visit. It is located at the south-east of the island on the road to Platy Ghialos. The church is built on a peninsula. Chrisopighi celebration takes place 40 days after the greek easter, so if you are lucky, you can participate to this unforgettable moment with people from Sifnos. At this time, the church is completely decorated with colored flags.
