The Village of Kato Petali

On the road from Apollonia to Kastro, there is a small village which remains one of our favorite place : Kato Petali is a small place with quite nothing (no shop, no apparent activity, feeling asleep each time we visit it) but hides a tremendous charm for the visitor who has decided to spend a quiet time. The village can be accessible by pathways also. Many snapshots have been done to catch the hidden beauty of the small street and the church built against the school. Not too many streets, no real architectural houses as you can find at Artemonas, but a simple place that I call a "logic structure" with everything that can make a typical greek village! We love the arrival on the small and shady place to park the car, the labyrinth of streets starting from the church, the pathways that surround the village and offer you one of the most beautiful view of Apollonia and Profitis Ilias mount on the background.
